Ambassador Youssef Amrani Interacts with the Moroccan Community in Boston Massachusetts
During his address, Ambassador Amrani celebrated the achievements of Morocco under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, highlighting the deep pride of the Moroccan community living in the United States of their country of origin. He noted that the gathering exemplified the enduring connections that bind Moroccans across the globe.
Ambassador Amrani focused on the recent address by His Majesty the King to Parliament, in which he highlighted Morocco’s remarkable progress on the issue of the Moroccan Sahara. In this context, the ambassador reiterated the sovereign’s call for global mobilization among Moroccans, emphasizing their vital role in advancing the Kingdom’s interests on the international stage. He underscored His Majesty’s emphasis on “Morocco’s shift from the phase of managing the Sahara issue to the phase of transformation.”
Mr. Amrani further highlighted the responsibilities of the Moroccan diaspora as ambassadors for their country. He acknowledged their contributions to the Kingdom’s unity and progress, reinforcing the idea that the community plays an essential role in shaping Morocco’s future.
Other topics of discussion included economic development opportunities in Morocco, particularly in the southern regions, which are seen as gateways to broader African partnerships, emphasizing the strategic importance of these regions for enhancing cultural, scientific, and economic ties between Morocco and the United States.
