Jeffrey Feltman Hails Morocco’s Achievements
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of HM King Mohammed VI’s accession to the Throne, a distinguished member of the Brookings Institution and former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Jeffrey Feltman, issued a statement praising Morocco’s achievements under His Majesty’s leadership.

Mr. Feltman, who has extensive experience in the region and previously served as the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs, highlighted Morocco’s significant achievements over the past quarter-century. He lauded the country’s advancements in various areas, including political and socio-economic reforms. Notably, he emphasized the substantial progress resulting from reforms to the constitution and family code, robust GDP growth, and the flourishing promotion of arts and culture.

Furthermore, Mr. Feltman underscored Morocco's pioneering role in the fight against climate change praising His Majesty’s visionary approach to tackling this urgent global issue, and noting that Morocco’s proactive stance serves as a model of forward-thinking leadership in addressing a pressing worldwide challenge.
