Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima

The Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Region benefits from a strategic geographical location.
It is one of the most visited seaside regions in the kingdom with a surface area of 11,570 km² or 1.6% of the total surface area of the country with a population of 2.5 million.
It is located at the north-western tip of Morocco, in the Rif mountain range, only 14 kilometres from the European continent.
The region is bounded by the Mediterranean Sea to the east and the Atlantic Ocean to the west.
It is bordered to the south by the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra and Fez-Meknes and to the east by the L'Oriental region.
It is one of the most ancient regions of the Mediterranean with attractive landscapes and historical monuments but also with one of the largest ports in the Mediterranean (Tanger Med) and an international airport.
The Tangiers-Tetouan region is positioned at the forefront of the regions receiving Foreign Direct Investments in Morocco after Greater Casablanca.
