United Airlines now becomes the first and only airline to offer nonstop flights between Marrakech and the United States. The flights will be operated by United's Boeing 767-300 aircraft, providing travelers with a comfortable and efficient way to travel between these two vibrant locations.
The introduction of this direct route is a testament to United Airlines' confidence in Morocco as a travel destination. This initiative not only enhances connectivity but also strengthens Morocco's position as a prime destination in the North African region.
This new service aligns with the overall strategy of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) to promote the country in the American market. With the introduction of more direct flights, Morocco is set to become a more accessible destination for American travelers, making it the first North African country served by one of the largest U.S. airlines.
Currently, in addition to the new flight operated by United Airlines, there are other direct flights inaugurated by Morocco’s national carrier, Royal Air Maroc flying from Casablanca to New York, Miami and Washington DC.
