US-Africa Business Summit: Mayor of Arlington (TX) Hosts Morocco at Dallas Cowboys Stadium for a Business Roundtable

A Moroccan delegation, led by Ambassador Youssef Amrani and representatives from the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), participated in a high-level roundtable convened by the Mayor of Arlington, Texas, ahead of the US-Africa Business Summit in Dallas. This event provided a platform to advance discussions on strengthening economic and commercial ties between Morocco and the United States, attracting interest from key Texan entrepreneurs across various sectors.

During his exchange with the participants, Ambassador Amrani emphasized the extensive and deep-rooted relationship between Morocco and the United States, highlighting the growing opportunities facilitated by the Morocco-U.S. Free Trade Agreement. He underscored the shared commitment to broadening the relationship's prospects, echoing policies aligned with the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which have positioned Morocco as a preferred partner and credible interlocutor.

He briefed the participants on the new momentum offered by the Atlantic Initiative launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, through which the Kingdom aspires to promote spaces of shared prosperity, efficient collaboration, and sincere solidarity, thereby fostering increasingly inclusive development and security for all.

Mr. Ali SEDDIKI, the General Director of AMDIE, highlighted Morocco's economic transformation presenting investment opportunities in cutting-edge sectors such as electric mobility, aerospace, and renewable energies.

He provided insight into Morocco's dynamic investment landscape and the incentives which strengthens its allure as a preferred destination for US investors, as well as a gateway to doing business in the continent.

Arlington Mayor Jim Ross expressed enthusiasm for strengthening ties with Moroccan partners, recognizing the city's diverse cultural landscape and its dedication to innovation.

As the 20th anniversary of the Free Trade Agreement approaches, US investments in Morocco are steadily increasing, and bilateral trade volumes between the two countries continue to soar, underscoring the mutual benefits of this longstanding partnership.
