President Donald Trump Hosts Annual Iftar Dinner at the White House, Reflects on Diplomacy, Spirituality and Peace

President Donald Trump hosted an Iftar dinner at the White House, attended by several representatives of the Muslim community in the United States and members of the Arab-Muslim diplomatic corps accredited in Washington. The reception was attended by Ambassador Youssef Amrani.
Several senior U.S. administration officials and members of Congress also attended the event.
On this occasion, President Trump took the opportunity to praise the values of peace, tolerance, moderation, and coexistence promoted by Islam, which take on particular significance during the blessed month of Ramadan.
