Programs for American Students, Researchers, Faculty
Fulbright U.S. Student Research Grant
Through this program, American students (post-bachelor’s degree) come to Morocco to undertake a research project tackling a Moroccan subject of interest. These researchers must have the necessary language skills to conduct their project, which is typically supported by a Moroccan university/organization.
Any research project requires prior approval from the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Interior.
Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Grant
This is a nine-month program where American students (post-bachelor’s degree) come to Morocco to teach the English language in Moroccan public universities. ETAs serve as stand-alone teachers in a variety of faculties within public institutions for 10-20 hours of teaching per week. ETAs also lead extracurricular student groups and engage within their host communities in various volunteer activities.
Fulbright U.S. Scholar Grant
The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers an opportunity for American university professors to teach or to conduct research in Morocco for a period between three to ten months. They can also do a combination of teaching and research.
