His Majesty King Mohammed VI Offers Condolences to U.S. President Following the passing of Former President Jimmy Carter
His Majesty King Mohammed VI addressed a message of condolences and compassion to U.S. President Joseph R. Biden, following the passing of the former U.S. President Jimmy Carter.
In this message, the Sovereign expressed deep sorrow over the news of the passing of President Jimmy Carter, “a man of reconciliation and dialogue,” paying tribute to the legacy of the late American President.
In light of this painful circumstance, His Majesty the King extends his heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to President Biden, the family of the deceased, and the American people.
His Majesty the King recalls the official visit made by His Majesty Late King Hassan II to the United States of America, at the invitation of the late President Jimmy Carter.
“The meetings held, on that occasion, reaffirmed the depth and scope of the longstanding relations uniting the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States of America. They also underscored the strategic nature of their partnership as well as the common views they had on peace-related issues,” the Sovereign emphasized.
